Covid-secure working at iWaste
We would like to take the opportunity to let you know about the new procedures we have put in place here at iWaste to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our customers and staff.
As a waste management company, it is imperative that we provide essential services which reduce landfill and protect the environment.
To ensure we are able to continue to do this safely, we have undergone the following changes with the help of an independent health and safety expert:
- We have restructured the entire office and warehouse facility to ensure staff remain at a safe distance apart, in line with current government guidelines, whilst at work
- All staff and visitors are given temperature checks on arrival to the site
- We have increased and enhanced cleaning measures across the entire site
- Disinfection and hand sanitising stations have been increased
- We have reduced contact in high risk areas, such as kitchen and welfare facilities, by limiting the number of people allowed within the area at the same time
- For tasks that require more than one person, we have created a buddy system to ensure the same people within a bubble always work closely together
- Our collection drivers wear gloves and face masks
iWaste continue to monitor the threat of Coronavirus and adjust our procedures accordingly.
